Underneath comes the sensor to measure your heart rate and contacts for USB charger.The Main idea here is to connect the usb charger to usb port which is a way better concept than putting a Big Box to Charge it. The usb connecting port is tiny yet can be pain if you loose it , without the port you cannot charge up your device .
When you first Start up the device it will ask you to download the Samsung Fit Manager App from Samsung Store. the app is pretty Simple and powerful. you can customize things like Wallpaper , Clock and Layout of the device. The things changes in real time.The gear Connects to your device via Bluetooth And it also have Fitness App integration. that was about the app lets talk about the features that comes in the fit. There are 10 icons lets talk about them individually
1 .Notifications : In notification you can view your messages and missed call and even you can delete them right from the device.
2. Media Controls: with the help of this you can perform functions like Play, Pause , forward ,previous & control the volume level.
3.Find my Device : what this does it plays the ringtone loudly and so that you can search your device around you.
4.Setting : in this you can Check your battery level , Turn off/on your fit Bluetooth, Edit clock Layout , Change wallpaper , Can also Edit screen options like you can rotate screen , adjust brightness , screen time out , you also Have options like Profile , Privacy Lock and Reset options under Setting Tab.
5.Pedometer : it counts the steps you walk . but it is inaccurate at times .
6.Heart Rate : this tab allows you to measure Your Heart rate.
7 .Exercise : it measures your Heart during during walking , cycling , running or Hiking.

so this are the tabs that you will find in Fit. as you can say this is first wearable which is made keeping health in mind . Battery Life this device is pretty much good.it can work for like 2 days without charging. But the Pedometer is not accurate . one another problem with this app is that you need to Turn ON/OFF the pedometer and sleep app. All the data of Goes to S health app in your Samsung Mobile Phone.it also require lots of your personal data to make it function Work. Gear fit also have app integration that means you can integrate some apps to fit (Like facebook ,gmail) but reading the messages can became a big pain due weird screen dimension.But we do have a function called "show on my device " what this does is the message you are reading on your fit is displayed on your mobile.
